But in reality, cost of crude is really low!

If I'm not mistaken, it was trading below $80/barrel a few days ago... Some countries need it to be around $100 to survive.

Winter market did not arrive in Q1... A lot is hoping for it to come around Q4... Otherwise its been a bad year for the energy sector...

point is if that low sulfur cap for ship fuel is fully implemented ships will be competing with land transportation for low sulfur diesel

if refineries cannot keep up with demand it will drive up the price of diesel

there may be plenty of crude but the bottleneck will be with refineries
