I share your sentiments.

I also have the same thoughts as Shadow; I like what Duterte did for Davao in his own capacity. He's not perfect but he did relatively well. I think he's more effective at a certain level, perhaps DILG as aforementioned.

Duterte is who he is, but I can't fully bring myself to trust him due to his coziness with the NPA and MILF. Yes, we need men of action as opposed to those who can only utter words but his ideology on how to bring about change (thru eliminating those who oppose him) still rubs me the wrong way.

interesting, they say they're concerned smaller bakeshops won't participate in future biddings.

And here i thought the only concerns they should have is getting the best quality cakes at the lowest prices; concerned din pala sila sa fair competition, antitrust, etc. Mala DTI pa pala sila.

i wonder how those other contractors, especially the one who "got stuck" in the elevator, feel about this newfound concern for fair competition.
