although he could've been the greatest president in the philippines, but because of what he did he isn't fit to be called a "bayani".

After all what he's done? But knowing how shallow minded some politicians are, siguradong papayag mga iyan...

    I voted NO.

Although to my mind, those born after EDSA or during martial law years will have no memories of the wrong deeds of Marcos and will be more forgiving and will probably vote YES.

Pinaubaya na ata ni PNoy kay Nognog ang task na ito.
Binay is also a victim of Martial Law....kaya baka i-reject din nya ito.

Naku, delikading si Mar Roxas nyan.

My playful mind tells me that Binay will drag or delay the final decision at about the end of his term. He then favorably recommends in the spirit of reconciliation (kuno) to allow ex-President Marcos to finally be laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. Presto! Binay gets the Ilocos Region electorate for his presidential bid.

    I hope not.

Yeah Knowing NOGNOG BINAY, this will happen:

Bongbong: Hey Jejomar, ako bahala sa iyo sa next presidential elections. Sigurado kang landslide sa Ilocos.

Binay: Wa problema, pag ako na presidente papa-libng ko Daddy mo sa Libingan ng mga Bayani.

Everyone has a Price, specially NOGNOG BINAY.

They say Marcos was a 50-50 President...

The first two terms daw was really good. But of course overshadowed by the Martial Law years...

No way! While he was able to do some good things during the early years of his term, he will still be remembered for bringing the country down to it's knees and for making life miserable for Filipinos. It's bad enough that they couldn't even send the Marcoses to jail for their crimes against the Filipinos tapos ito pa, ipapalibing sa LNMB?

to even consider the idea is utter ignorance or stupidity

palitan ang pangalan nung libingan kung gagawin nila yun

naging salot yan sa bayan when he had the chance tapos gagawin pa nilang bayani

    hell no!

as to the argument that a corrupt general was allowed burial there, that was also not right.

these would both be a SHAME to this nation.

Naalala ko tuloy ang sabi ng classmate ko when we were in highschool: "Dapat sa kanya ipa-cremate tapos i-flush sa inodoro!"

Another one chimed in: "O kaya ipakain sa buwaya!"

These aren't my sentiments, ha. I was just remembering what they said. Personally, I wouldn't want him buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, because to my mind, he started all the graft and corruption we're experiencing now. But I don't dislike him so much that I'd wish his remains flushed in the toilet bowl! Why not just scatter his ashes in Malacanang?
