LEGAL or NOT??? Delivery trucks required to purchase stickers from city hall.

This has been going on for many years. Why are delivery trucks required to purchase "stickers" from City Hall just to drive or deliver goods to that city in Metro Manila?

This is the case in cities like Pasay, Paranaque, Alabang, Marikina and many others too. This increases the cost of operating as well as adds so much red tape to delivery goods around the metro.

Is this even legal?

It is a major hassle for all types and sizes of businesses that require to deliver goods all over metro manila and onwards.

Not only do businesses with a delivery component have to deal with rising cost of fuel and traffic, they also have to deal with this annual milking for the "rights" to delivery goods into a city and the red-tape and lost man-hours involved to purchase one or more of the required stickers PER city.

Hindi lang yan sa Metro Manila. Pati sa provinces. Meron ng sticker from the provincial capitol, tapos meron pang sticker from each of the cities and municipalities in that province. Just imagine gaano kadaming stickers ang nakakabit sa mga trucks ko.
Kanya kanyang racket talaga mga local governments natin.

Kaya ginawa ko nalang to at least minimize the cost of these delivery van stickers, yung ibang trucks delivery only to certain areas. Ang problema minsan if nasira yung isang truck and need to use another truck na wala naman sticker for that particular area, hassle talaga.

naging City Ordinance na kasi nila yan na kailangan meron. aside from this, meron pang ASBU, and mga buwaya along the way. daming rackets in every city.

baka sa susunod per barangay may sticker na din pag mag dedeliver.. hehehe... or toll fee na lang.. hehehe..... or entrance Fee.. hehehe.. ano pa bang fee ang pwede?
