MANILA (UPDATED) -- Police found the body of a senior account manager of advertising agency McCann Worldgroup Philippines, Inc. who had been missing since Friday night.

The body of 25-year-old Kristelle Davantes was found at the Tibagan Bridge in Barangay Sabutan, Silang, Cavite at around 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Her mouth was covered with a handkerchief, while her hands were tied with a seatbelt. She had several wounds on her neck.

Near her body were a knife and a wire believed to have been used to kill her.

Cavite Philippine National Police’s SPO2 Deogenes Zonio said: “Maaaring 'yung wire din ginamit to strangulate.”

Davantes was last seen at the Bonifacio Global City driving a Toyota Altis. The car is still missing.

According to the media and marketing website Mumbrella.com, Davantes worked for a little over two years at McCann’s digital offering MRM, having joined the agency in September 2011.

The website also said she attended De La Salle University where she graduated with a Master’s degree in marketing communications. -- from a report by Nevi Calma, ABS-CBN News Cavite
Please warn your female family and friends to be careful and not to stay late around the BGC area.

Justice sought for slain 25-year-old account executive

(UPDATE) Family and friends are seeking justice for Kristelle "Kae" Davantes, an advertising executive reportedly abducted in Bonifacio Global City Taguig and later found dead in Cavite.

On social networking site Facebook, the page "Justice for KAE" has been created by the victim's family and friends. "Families and friends, let's all unite. We will not stop until we find justice. #justiceforkae," according to the page.

Davantes, described by her co-worker Budjette Tan as "hard-working and passionate," was last seen driving out of the parking area, after a night-out in Bonifacio Global City

"One of my last meetings with her was about an upcoming pitch. She said she wanted to personally handle the project because she was determined to win it. Despite all the OT we do and all the weekly workload that leave us with little personal time, she was still excited to work on a new project and win a new account," Tan said in his Facebook post.

Davantes, who was working as a senior account manager at the advertising agency, McCann World Group Philippines' MRM, was last seen Friday night and "Kae", as she was fondly called by friends, never got home.

According to an ABS-CBN report, Davantes' body was found on the Tibagan Bridge in Barangay Sabutan in Silang, Cavite at around 6am last Saturday. Her mouth was covered with a handkerchief while her hands were tied using a car seatbelt. Her neck also bore several wounds. A knife and a piece of wire were also found near Davantes' dead body, leading Cavite Police to suspect that she may have been strangled.

According to the advertising publication, Adobo Magazine, Davantes' car with plate number PIM 966 is still missing.

"To those asking for additional details, we will inform you at the right time. We'd appreciate that you give us time to grieve on this tragic moment that has come to our family," a post in the page added.

^So your niece was with her on the the night she went missing? It is so sad and scary at the same time. I always thought BGC was a safe area and would sometimes walk past midnight in the area.

I saw some FB announcements that she was missing and on the next day, they found her already. Somehow this had affected me much because she has such an angelic looking face and she didn't deserve to be treated that way. I hope the culprit gets caught and may their souls burn in hell for all eternity, plus 1 day.

    Cavite na naman.
Panahon pa ng kastila provincia de los bandidos na, hangang ngayon probinsiya pa din ng mga smugglers, carnapers, kidnappers, gun runners, gun for hire, at probinsiya na din ng mga revilla. May progress!

pasensya sa mga cavitenyo, nagsasabi lang ng totoo.

My niece doesn't like to drink too much. She left for home earlier in the evening.

according to the news, she lives at las pinas and the last time na nakita sya ng officemate nung ihatid pa sya sa altis nya. nakita daw nila umalis yung altis, so it could have happen between BGC and las pinas.

what this reminds me of eh yung isang thread dito sa tsikot tungkol sa mga sumusunod na sasakyan na carnapper, was it at BF homes sa laspinas, sa loob ng village mismo hinarang nagpanggap na pulis, buti na lang at di binuksan ng driver yung pinto, she opened the window big enough to let the souind pass but small enough to not let an arms reach inside.

siguro warning na lang sa mga female passenger, never get out of your car kahit pulis pa yan, pag binuksan ang window small gap lang para makipagusap, then someone would ask you to open your hood, DONT. call for someone to assist you and as a companion.

Yes tagong lugar un pinagtapunan and as most parts of silang parang damuhan pa siya, kahit ung hiway na papuntang tagaytay (junction, balinsasayaw resto) liblib pa din itsura. Taga saan kaya siya, familiar ung face and i think i know her not personally since mccan is our tenant but on my past company.

Ang gagaling pa naman ng mga taga mccann.

Taenang daming demonyo pag ber months na kaya ingat ingat mga katsikot.

Reminds me of the female Coke exec who suffered the same fate years ago.

I'd guess she was randomly cased out and picked-up by the wrong bunch (carnapping gone bad?).

To think a week ago my wife was bickering about why i have to stay up and wait for her and personally fetch her when she has a late night out (in fairness, naawa lang siya sa akin dahil it's obvious na napupuyat din ako). She now understands why.

My prayers and condolences to the victim and her family. She's also the co-worker/acquaintance of my cousin and some school friends.

I don't think it has any connection with ghost month. Did the comment say anything else?

They should mandate all establishments to have a CCTV camera installed. And for the guys, if you have a companion girl who plans to drive home alone, samahan na ninyo.

Rarely ata pinapatay yung carnap victim. I think there's more to it than just kidnap/carnap. Maybe may rival/relationship issues to consider. I hope media will stay on top of this.
