People are massing to the People Power monument this pm. Anyone on his way there? Anyone interested in joining another "uprising"?

ho-hum... just like the last attempt on another "people power" - after 2 days nilalangaw na ang people power monument.
the people don't know it but they are being used as pawns in this political chessboard.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz i'll just watch on tv with my popcorn at the side
You'll never find me joining a mob waving banners that proclaim "Poor Is Power".
Seriously, mass action is a dead horse. That especially goes for mobilizations with politicians at the forefront.

If they suceed then what? Same old farts will start doing their thing on us again... Those people never learn.

di ako naniniwala sa people power (from edsa 1 o maging edsa 10 na siguro)
i admit i joined edsa 2.
The NEW poeple power should be the reinstilling of INTEGRITY and DISCIPLINE in what we do... tops-down... all levels... all classes.
I haven't heard anyone praising Marcos for what he did to make EDSA I succeed.
I can still remember watching Marcos on TV when suddenly Gen. Fabian Vher approached him and asked him to allow the Marcos loyalist soldiers to use force to disperse the crowd and allow aircraft to bomb the rebels. Marcos turned him down and said he is only allowing them to use small arms for their self-defense.
Not everyone in the military was supporting the rebels at that time (a.k.a. Ramos and Enrile). It could have turned into a very ugly scene had Marcos followed the path of desperate dictators. But all we think about this time when EDSA I is mentioned, is Cory Aquino, who never really earned her presidency just the same.
I don't think all the other presidents that came thereafter, can equal the leadership qualities and genius of Ferdinand Marcos. He is the last true leader of the Philippines ever to hold office at Malacanang. Everyone else that followed, has been an anomaly.
IMO, no offense to you bro but that is a big B.S.!!!Originally Posted by DoctorDoom
