You can drive up to the Ranger Station. Puwede din mag camp doon. Meron bathroom (isa lang) and malakas naman ang tubig.
Some people camp there and just do Day hikes up to the summit.
Nag lakad kami in Full Packs (20 to 40 liters capacity back packs) for 5 .5 hours. Started walking at 1pm, arrived at the Camp 3 site around 530. Temperature drops to 10 to 15 deg cel. around 3pm, medyo zero visibility na sa bundok.
Mt. Pulag is famous for its Sunrise. So kung sa Ranger mangagaling you have to start walking around 3am (assuming no heavy backpacks) and hopefully reach the summit around 6am. Watch the sunrise above the clouds.
Physical fitness is a must if you plan to hike up to the summit. The trail is not tough but the weather is.
The youngest to climb Mt. Pulag was a 6 yr. old :D
