A Year ago I've bought a brand new Dong Feng 4 wheel 2.8 liter Turbo Intercooler Truck. Now after a year with a mileage less then 15,ooo km. on paper it matchs its japanese counter part, but after purchasing it, I first hand seen its problems like.

    Electrical Bugs
-driver side headlight will not function (somtime you need to knock the headlight to work)
-hazard light will not function (sometime)
    -driver side speaker not working
    -aircon not working
    -speedometer not working (sometimes)

    Transmission Bugs
-Hard downshift from 3rd to 2nd gear (matigas talaga sobra and fully depress na ang clutch) )
-Grinding of gear from 4th to 3rd gear ( fully depress na ang clutch)
-Grinding of gear fully stop to reverse gear ( fully depress na ang cluth)

Clutch sobra matigas wala vacuum assist ito.

    Brakes Bugs
-when hard braking will pull to the right (somtime magugulat kanalang)

    Steering Bugs
-hard steering, if the truck is loaded and the weight is mostly on front (para walang power steering)
-Grinding sound on full turn to the left or right ( sometimes )

I report this problem to them and they said just bring the truck back for service. they will fix it.
But its just temporary fix after a few hundred kilometer one by one problems cames back. I had the truck service for 3 times same parin ang out .

To the people who are planning to buy DongFeng or even other chinese made truck think it over.

Mostly ang mabibili mo naman sa market ay mga made in china ang components.

Ang dapat iwasan ay ung purely made in china, ung walang guarantee from a well known brand.

Kung panandalian na gamit, pwede na ung made in china dahil nga sa attractive ung price, pero if it is for longer use, better stick with trusted brands kahit na mas mahal.

Kaya ako, cp ko made in china, but my car is made in japan.
