hindi naman sa kontra ako sa mitsubishi but....if you look at the nissan frontiers released in the US.....this is what they would say "been there, done that". The US versions of Toyota Tundra and Tacoma (yata) are even more superior in Hp than yata if I recall it right.

V6 engines in mini trucks are too common na except in our part of the world yata.

Siguro mas mabibilib pa ako kung evo engined na strada ang ilabas nila! 8)

Hindi ba sa US lang common ang V6 powered trucks? Kahit kasi sa Europe diesel at 4 bangers ang mga truck, eh.

Pulled out din ang compact trucks ng Mitsu from the US Market dahil mahina ang benta.

yup. it's only in the us where very high displacement is important. sa us kasi, displacement is actually more important than power para makabenta ka ng sasakyan. in europe, it's all diesel or small-displacement petrol cars. civic nila pinakamabenta 2.2li diesel (baka 2.0, not so sure). sa states kasi mura ang gasolina dahil wala gaanong tax.

oo nga sir otep, talagang iwan lang tayo pagdating sa laki at bilis ng mga oto sa US. (Ung nissan frontier smallest displacement nila na version ang makina ay pang cefiro - 2.4 v6 24valve -na natin....na commentan pa sa isang 4x4 magazine na weak engined.....DUH :?)

i agree with Alfred and Wreckless... the full power of a v6 wont shine here in our splendid roads. Any yes, V6s are all too common in more progressive countries. This only demonstrates that we're really behind in terms of tech. kawawang pinoy.

Imagine, 4d56s in thiland get vg turbos good for an additional 14hp for their Stradas. Samantalang dito, same old same old. :|
