help pls, my bro decided to buy a bnew isuzu dmax(firefox red), dito sa isuzu pampanga. while dun kami may nakita kami naka stock sa likod na 1 dmax with the same color, we told the SA na ibigay nya yung galing sa planta, at hindi yung naka stock na yun, the SA comitted na manggagaling sa planta bibigay nya sa amin. Then after 2 weeks, nung kukunin na namin ang unit, naghinala kami na yung binibigay sa amin is the same unit sa likod nila, but the SA is insisting na galing daw sa planta yun at na dispose na yung dating unit sa likod. tinatanong namin na he give us proof sa delivery date sa sinasabi nyang newly delivered unit, wala syang mapakita, iniikot nya usapan, advise me naman how can we make sure na newly delivered nga yung unit na yun??balak ko rin itanong kung kanino nya dinispose yung naka stock na unit? ang gulo noh??help naman pls

    medyo mahirap yan.

for sure, hindi ipapakita sa inyo ang shipping docs since confidential yun (at nakalagay dun kung magkano nila binili from thailand).

and another thing... kahit na nakakuha kayo ng bagong dating from pier... hindi mo pa rin masigurado kung kailan na assemble yun sa thailand... baka mas matagal pang nakabilad yun sa stockyard ng thailand kesa dito.

just inspect your new unit carefully for watermarks, scratches, swirlmarks, scuffs, etc.

Yup, tama si mazdamazda, imported from Thailand ang mga units so there's no way of knowing if the unit you're purchasing belongs to a newer batch, kaya check carefully na lang.

you could have taken note of the conduction sticker of the vehicle that you saw before.

or you can try asking around the casa (sekyu or janitor) if there indeed was a new batch of delivered vehicles (specifically the red d-max).

sayang nga, we were not able to take note of the conduction sticker, but i'l try to sneak around to ask the guard or janitor when was it delivered. tnx, ano pa kaya magandang gawin para magka peace of mind kami before getting the unit, im thinking of ordering a diferent color, kaso nalagay na nila yung accessories(tint, visor, stepboard), pede pa kaya magback out dun kung may doubts kami?? all we wanted is a just a new fresh unit from their place sa laguna, why can't isuzu give us that??

Pare-pareho namang bago iyon. hehehe. Brand new pa din.

Sa Kia kasi nakalagay sa windshield yung exact time of assembly, eh. May oras pa!

Honestly, medyo malabo mo pwede gawin yun unless the dealer will incur the cost of purchasing from the plant again. Don't forget that dealerships are just that, dealers, meaning, middleman lang sila, ang habol nila is to get rid of the ones they've ordered dahil patay na pera ang nakastock na kotse sa lot...

Getting another one while you still have inventory stock isn't logical unless wala kang stock nung particular specs na bibilin ng customer.

Yup, you can check the VIN para may idea kung ano ang relative date of manufacture ng kotse na yun. Pero thats all that you can get, tama si theveed na mga retailers lang sila, uunahin syempre nila yung current stock bago maglabas ng bagong stock.

Kung talagang gusto mo ng peace of mind, cancel your order then bili ka sa ibang dealer.

there's no sense in getting a newer one if the difference is only a few weeks. and most probably, magkasabay din lang dumating sa philippine ports yan. baka mas matagal pa ngang nabilad sa araw yung ipapalit mo.

check the mileage, even though matagal ng stock yan okay lang, the big difference is kung ginamit yan say pang road test. mas madungis pa nga yan pag nasa planta (balot ng alikabok) at tsaka lang siya lilinisin pag dadalin na sa showroom.

do you guys normally check the conduction sticker of the vehicle in the showroom para kung bibili kayo, malalaman nyo kung brand new yung ibinigay sa inyo? Kasi ganyan yung nangyari sa friend ng sister ko.... they went to a Toyota showroom and bibili ata ng Altis. So ang sinabi dapat brand new (he secretly took a photo of the conduction sticker of the unit in the showroom) so when he came to pick up the unit a few days later, pareho yung conduction sticker and he told the sales agent which the agent denied but he had proof so ayun, napahiya yung agent

Just to give some info..... I think you can do that kung mechanical cable ang speedo but not on electronic cable. we tried this sa altis not sure if this will work on all cars. We disconnected the speedometer cable sa altis ( disconnected from the transmission ) ayaw mag-crank man lang ng starter. Anyway they are right check mo nalang ang kilometrahe, interior and paint.

Hala, ayun nasa open space lang nung compound yung full line-up of vehicles nila from the Lancer to the Rosa - nauulanan, naaarawan.
Tama sila. The only thing that you could have done was to take note of the conduction sticker number nung unit na nakita niyo 2 weeks ago sa likod ng casa.
