Kcboy: estimate ko mga around 400-500km from Manila siguro ang Sagada. Around 3 hrs pa raw kung coming from Baguio ka (pero mga 30kph lang ang takbo kasi rough road) that'a about 100km from Baguio. Pero if you take the Nueva Ecija-Vizcaya route mas mabilis yata ang travel time.

Maganda sanang sumama but my ride is not yet 4x4 :cry:

it will be followed by a xmas party at mr.romero's place.
sapang uwak is a mountain trail.

by the way, PORCI's secretary is getting names na pala of those interested sa sagada.
you will be ask what kind of accomodation you will need (1st class, 2nd or 3rd). yung 3rd means tent. kailangan daw magpa-reserve early.

wow....pede 4x2 .... nakakatemp sumama ah....tingnan ko kung magawan ko ng paraan....details naman dun sa accomodation na sinasabi mo olivedrab (how much ung 1st class, 2nd class and 3rd class)....ano estimated budget per person all-in-all kaya?

Yup. Puwede po and 4x2. When we went there last 1999 I only use my 4low sa pag-akyat ng lake danon, it was raining when we left the lake. But now cemented na yun road going up. It's a 12 hrs drive (si kcboy and otep mga 8hr lang :mrgreen: )from manila via the Banawe-Bontoc route. I don't recomend going via baguio (8hrs), boring and less pictureques ang route.

Typical room rates is 300php for an overnight stay, but this is 1999 rates. There will be treking, but these will be in the cool (colder than Baguio) cloudy atmosphere, the longest is 1 1/2 hr., as we have our ride to get us closer to our destinations. I won't give the details but I can say that you'll really enjoy it. A four day vacation or leave would be enough, three would be a little bit hectic. Get tayo ng guide first sa City Hall. Typical rates is about 600php a day. Bring mini stove (I have one). A fee of 50php is charge for every cooking request, kahit isang egg lang.:mrgreen:

gusto ko sana sumama kaya lang ang tagal ng travel... and baka hindi sumama dad ko. wala na akong masasakyan. siguro i'll force my dad to go na lang.:mrgreen:

comment ko lang pag holyweek travel na malayo ay napakagrabe ng traffic situation specially sa northern roads. Are you sure gusto nyong sumabak sa traffic???

I usually stay in MManila or may office pag HOLY WEEK. Masyadong traffic sa province. Dito, ang linis ng kalye. It also give us the opportunity to visit our relatives.
