i read kanina sa newspaper na suspended ang color coding starting monday. this will be implemented for three weeks. that is excluding Makati which has a large volume of vehicles.

i think bayani fernando is experimenting if the Metro still needs it.

la lang, just wanna inform you guys if ever you didn't know it yet. la pa kasi nagpopost about it e.

totoo ba ung order din ni bayani fernando about removing the humps all over the metro?

    ok no?

I agree hindi nga effective ang color coding, but I'm wondering what they would implement kapalit ng coding? any ideas?

    Toyota banned on Mondays
    Nissan on Tuesdays
    Mitsubishi on Wednesdays
    Isuzu on Thrusdays
    Ford on Fridays

On all other car brands banned during weekends.

Hahaha!!! Anyway this was just an idea, but it will surely cut the vehicle number on the roads at any given time.

Ok, if this wasn't a good idea then shoot me!

mukhang di maganda ang effect ng suspension ng color coding. my travel time to the office increased by half an hour! grabe traffic sa ortigas avenue sa umaga and lalo na sa gabi. dapat siguro meron pa ring selective implementation like in major thoroughfares ....

They should try and impose it on Buses plying EDSA naman. There are simply too many buses there.

Then the basis would have to be from what brand of engine they've got.

No vehicle could run without an engine right?

how about sharing our experiences since this scheme was suspended? natraffic ba kayo?

BUT the following days hindi nako natatraffic...

so I guess it's working... I mean, nung una akala ko palpak, but after monday ok na naman ang flow ng traffic, or I should say very minimal ang change...

    kayo?

Traffic was heavy from this side of Manila. :x

So far I haven't enjoyed every bit of it. Ibalik na lang yung color coding scheme! It took me half an hour just to cross a block from our house! :x

Grabe traffic everywhere...Grrrrrr!

Anyway, BF might want to literally consider a "color" coding...as in bawal Red na sasakyan pag Monday...Blue pag Tuesday...etc.

    Wala lang! He he

pero ayaw ko ng color-coding. ill just bear with it.

ibinalik na yung color coding for private vehicles, and not surprisingly, traffic was still as heavy as ever today...
