    The SUV field is huge and has many segments. Everything from cute-utes to hardcore machines.

    What is the 'best'? IMHO, it's finding something that meets your needs and wants in a vehicle.

    There are people who swear by their Cruisers, their Rovers, even their Ssangyongs. I guess they all have different reasons for their loyalties.

    i love the looks of the new chevy tahoe but i would love to drop the engine of the cadillac escalde(400HP 6.0L) in an 07 tahoe and beef it up more.

    worldwide = X5; why? topgear dubbed it zues of SUV's.

    philippines = santa fe; why? ang usapan kasi dito ay price vs. performance and this meets the needs of the average juan D.C. considering fuel economy, engine output, and price. however, it lacks the 4x4 quality that offroaders are looking for. BUT, since konti lng naman ang difference ng price ng santa fe and forester, it also gets my vote.

    best SUV - hindi ka magtitiis. hindi ka magtitiis sa mabagal na diesel, hindi ka magtitiis mag-drive ng nakakapagod na tangke, hindi ka magtitiis na andami mo kapareho, hindi ka magtitiis na mag-settle sa matipid to maintain secondary choice. hindi ka magtitiis dahil mas mura fuel

    kasi para ka na din martyr ... hehehe

    best SUV's are more for luxury purposes
    ordinary SUV's only are as the name suggest for utility purposes

    Has to be the Hummer H2 or a Range Rover HSE. But the new 07 Expy is not bad either. Whatever anyone else says, for me....SIZE DOES MATTER!
