    ale828,
    the negative outweighs the positive
    pajero box type
    3 door 250T plus
    5 door 300T plus
    tonka look
    3 door 500T plus
    5 door 620T plus
    bighorn nasa 600T plus din

    good luck sir

You must really wonder why. One pajero owner i talked to was so pissed off with his decision to get one. He said that sana he bought a local second hand unit na lang. If youre really bent on getting a Subic Unit.... youd better bring a very very competent mechanic to check the car, otherwise, you could easily spend an additional 100thou on post-conversion repairs.

    goodluck!!! :D

    Boy2,

I checked out the converted trucks. Pangit din ang conversion lalo na after around a year or two kasi magsisimula na mag-peel yung pintura sa sidings at dashboard and yung mga dugtungan magca-crack na dahil lagari and fiberglass ang method of conversion.

Ayoko na ulit ipaliwanag how they make the a/c work. Mabwibwiset lang kayo.

I'll stick with the locals kahit mas mahal and mas kaunti ang features. Unless gagawing project car.

    sir otep

pero diba its the best place to buy heavy and farm equipments... wala kasing conversions e..

I have an Isuzu Big Horn 3.1TD bought 1st week of December. You have to consider many things as with buying any other 2nd hand car. 1st,if you will use it as an everyday car then buy a unit(SUV or others) na 2-3 years old pa lang. Experience ko you start with big maintenance sa Jap cars after 4 years, i.e 50 km-up mileage. (water pump, timing belt, suspension, etc). Kung 2nd car lang then you can consider older units. 2nd, how much are you willing to pay for it. Ako kasi when I bought the unit handa akong gumastos para mapaganda. Mine is 1993 sa Japan. Trooper yun dito sa atin at sa US, Jackaroo sa Aus, Big Horn,Holden Monteray sa Jap,UK,NZ. Nakuha ko ng magandang price so even if I spend 100K sulit bili ko. 3rd are you into mechanical/tech stuffs? Minor lang ito except for the t.belt. I researched the Net alot before making the purchase so alam ko most of the issues na associated sa binili kong kotse. Had 2 shops check the conversion, ok naman. Ako I was prepared to invest money to bring it to a quality level na gusto ko so I paid the right amount na kahit mag shell out ako ng 100K ok pa rin. I checked 10-15 units before narrowing it down to 3. Sa auction ko nakuha unit ko. Being everything in the same footing kung ok ang conversion same lang ang maintenance na gagawin mo sa Jap converted rig against a local unit. I would suggest you research your unit 1st before buying anything.I was in Tagaytay yesterday and I enjoyed the drive, sunroof and all. Lakas ng 4JG2, tahimik at smooth takbo ng makina. On the otherhand fuel consumption is better sa 2.8 4JBT-1(lumang Trooper). The new Trooper is of course the best. 4JX1 ang makina. Common rail, Direct injection dishing out 160+hp, 3.0cc lang ito. Sa akin 3.1cc but it can only deliver 130+hp. Lotus handling. i.e Lotus UK tweaked the suspension giving it a softer ride. Mas aggressive yung Irmscher model. I hope this helps. I even bought an owners manual for my ride. Sori ang haba coz I wanted to share what I found out regarding buying this rig. Happy New Year!! 8)
