Sa wakas! I'm back home after hauling nearly 180lbs worth of Calmini suspension parts all the way from Memphis USA! Had to buy 2 rubberized trunk locker boxes to house the parts coz di kakayanin ng balikbayan box.
Darn! Dapat pa install ko today (Friday) c/o 199 pero Ronald resked me to Monday because they have their hands full for the Suzuku race tomorrow.
Just got back from a badly needed 2-week vacation abroad. Gift ng parents ko to me. I visited Toronto muna to visit some relatives tapos dumaan nalang ako sa Memphis to pick it up kasi had it shipped there sa bahay ng family friend.
Glenn: I was about to get you one kaso I figured you'll be going to Toronto anyway this January...hahahahaha.
theveed: Regalo ng parents ko sa akin for passing the boards.
the_wildthing: So far no problems except that one of the locker boxes was opened. Siguro naman it looked suspicious kasi ano siguro iisipin nila if they see the outline of a coilspring and a shockabsorber as well as those suspension arms appear sa x-ray screen nila. Hahaha! Pero they packed it back well naman and they placed their own tape with the the label ng TSA (Transportation Security Administration). When I arrived here sa Phil. Customs, nag lagay nalang ako ng konti sa passport para wala na hassle. I know its wrong to do that pero I didn't want to risk it.
Philip, Congratzi! Buzz me up if you intend to sell your coils/shocks..if I can afford it. By the way, how much did it cost to bring the goodies here? Tnx!
