September 20th, 2005 02:24 PM #32These are nice, removable for bulk hauling soft covers I saw on the net:
http://www.extang.com/
http://www.accesscover.com/Products/Access.asp
Both brands ata don't require drilling on the pickup bed with frame/bow supports and adjustable studs to suit different climates.
Been looking for a similar one for my crew cab pickup but wala ata sa local market natin...? Recall seeing one (ala extang blackmax with snaps on the sides) on a strada and boy, it looks very clean and nice!

That's the same link I posted from page 3. I wonder if anyone knows who's the local dealer for those covers?
Snap buttons could be nice, but how well is the security?

September 25th, 2005 12:34 AM #34may minimal leaks pag malakas ang ulan sa roll-top covers (carryboy). May built-in drainage naman kasama. Yun mga parang trapal kasi walang lock and pwede sirain agad

Anyway that is pressurized water trying to penetrate in.
Kasya kaya yung pang Sport Trac sa Hilux bed?

RE: hard cover tonneau
Its been several years na rin since the first post. Water seepage and durability seemed to be the problems encountered.
Can we have an update on the newer models available in the market today?
Contemplating on this types...

But I would consider this if efforts to find a retractable lid would proved futile.
The hybrid release was also basically an all-new model release for TMPI, I think.
