FMC- Full Metal Challenge

Do you watch this show? Bloody cool!It's on Discovery Channel. It replaced Junkyard wars. In this show, contestants from around the world build their 4x4, tracked or even 8x8 vehicles to compete in various vehicle smashing competitions like water fording, smashups and obstacle course running. The contestants are given 30 days to come up with a rig, using parts from almost any vehicle you could think of. Some used old military vehicles from jeeps to amphibious tanks and some even used construction vehicles like articulated dump trucks. Just awhile ago, a team called Aquaholics from Britain built an 8x8 vehicle, yup all wheel drive, with 4 wheel steering and 2 range rover v8 engines running the rig! Unbelievable but they did it! Indians, Icelanders,Brits, Russians and Japanese have competed in this very exciting contest for the past weeks now. It really inspires you to make your own from junk once you see the rigs they have!
The show runs every saturday night at 9pm and replays at 6 to 7am sunday.

I've seen Junyard Wars before & it was very interesting. Your description of FMC seems to be a better show than the former. It makes me wish we have Discovery Channel here.:angel:

Astig yung mga 4x4 nila. Icelanders really know what to do with their rigs, ang di ko pa nakikita mga Australians. I even saw one episode a vehicle using tracks instead of tires.

yup naunahan mo lang ako mag start ng thread,
yup advantage ang icelanders dahil na natural terrain nila.

yung sa bowling dapat naka angle ka sa pins the slide.
sa rollercoaster naman kailangan light ang vehicle for it to climb
of course sa sumo dapat puro bullbars all around and dapat malakas ang engine.

hindi gawa nalang tayo ng sariling ring....kayong dalawa mag lalaban sumo lang testing testing hehehe...tignan natin gaano kalakas mga bumpers nyo :D

i've watched a 70's toyota landcruiser won in that contest and it was driven by female drivers pa from australia.
