From the April 2005 issue of the influential Consumer Reports magazine based on 400,000 Americans surveyed, the least reliable trucks,SUVs and vans:

SUVs: Landrover Freelander,Lincoln Navigator,Volkswagen Touareg, Volvo XC90,Nissan Armada,Chevrolet Blazer,Ford Excursion,Hummer H2, Porsche Cayenne,Mercedes-Benz M-class,Chevrolet Trailblazer,GMC Envoy, Ford Expedition,Saturn VUE

Minivans: Nissan Quest,Chevrolet Astro,GMC Safari,Mazda MPV

Pickup Trucks: Ford F-150(4WD)

hmmm interesting. I wonder why? Some of these vehicles seem very reliable to me.

Yung M-class talagang known to be unreliable simula pa nung lumabas ito. Isa to sa mga ni-research ko nung kumuha ako ng MDX. Yung Touareg masyado pang bago para malaman kung reliable o hindi.

according to CR, close to 400,000 people responded to their survey and involved 810,000 vehicles (makes sense, the average American household has 2 vehicles) and they were asked to report serious problems they have encountered with their vehicles during the previous 12 months.the survey includes 17 trouble areas ranging from engine, transmission,hardware and electrical systems for vehicles up to 8 years old.they were instructed to exclude problems covered by the manufacturer's warranty and not to consider normal maintenance issues.responses are excluded if they are inaccurate, responders who drive less than the national average (12,000 miles yearly[19,200kms]) are also tossed out.

the issue comes out on march 8, I'm not a subscriber so i have to wait to buy one unless one of you guys have it already.not everybody in america believes in Consumer Reports ,like these guys:
