"Sawed-off" pickup truck

Hi guys, just wanted to share a sighting of a unique vehicle

I was driving to UP's shopping center this afternoon, and saw a maroon ford ranger (looks like a pinatubo edition) with a shortened bed with the end just behind the rear wheels. It's literally a pickup truck with a sawed-off end.

I didn't have a camera though, so no pics. It looked... cute.

anybody else seen this vehicle, or anything like it?

I believe that the proper term for this mod is "bobtailed"

I'm sure some of the local off-roaders do this so you must've seen one of them.

That would be possible to do... medyo matrabaho lang. I guess the basis of *how short* the mod would be depends on the tail end of the chassis.

Sayang.... would have been nice if you were able to take a pic and post it.... maybe next time.
