help pls!lakas ugong at 120km

tulong naman mga gurus.1st time to drive my 03 starex at nlex,pag nagreach na ng 100 to 120 lakas ng ugong malakas hatak ng engine it can go 140 pero pag balik uli ng 120 ingay nnman.parang sa ilalim ko naririnig ang inggay dinala ko na sa kasa sabi oks naman daw propeller ko and everything baka balancing lang daw.pero 1 week ago it was balanced already.Whats your suggestion??

Got same problem with my starex before, lakas din ng ugong at that speed but di naman nawawala when reaching 140kph. pina-align ko lang, nawala yung ugong. How 'bout your wheel bearing, na-check na ba ng mechanic mo?

Is it an engine ugong or a mechanical ugong? If you think it is coming from the engine, most probably it is your clutch fan. Normally it should disengage at high speeds (around 80-100kph). If it doesn't disengage at high speeds (like at 120kph that you mentioned) that means masyadong matigas yung clutch fan mo. 140kph i think is too much. ideally 100kph bumitaw na siya. either you replace it or have a mechanic open it at bawasan ng silicon oil but make sure not too much kasi baka mag-overheat ka naman sa traffic.

if you think it is mechanical, check your wheel bearings.

thanks for all the inputs!test drive na kanina ng supervisor ng hyundai everythings alright daw.normal daw tlga yun sa 12 seater compare sa 9 seater "engine noise".mas malaki daw kasi body ng jumbo.pero try ko din pcheck ung alignment,camber.pero sabi ng kasa it has nothing to do w/ the problem.Nakakainis nga e!lakas nga hataw mainggay naman engine/test drive reached 150km/hr.im using biodiesel and mobil supersynth.

dati sa liteace namin eh malakas ugong pag above 80kph na, sira na pala rear wheel bearing..

It might be the wheel bearing. Ilan na ba ang odometer reading ng ride?
