    It's the Nissan Patrol 4.8 Auto ST which took top honors.

    Next in line was the Toyota Land Cruiser 4.7 Auto GXL

    And the best DIESEL 4WD?

    None other than the Nissan Patrol 4.2 ST powered by the turbocharged and intercooled version of the venerable TD42 egine. :D

    Mahilig yata sila sa Patrol sa Australia kasi dami na ako napanood na movie gamit ang Patrol pag sa australia ang shooting.

    Don't be confused with 4WD Monthly and 4x4 Australia

    Overlander came out with their own 4WDOTY too.

    Yung 4WD Monthly ang largest selling 4WD magazine. Pero ok din ang 4x4 Australia at Overlander.

    Leagues better than U.S.-based Four Wheeler and other similar mags.

    Same engine as the Mid-East version pero less features. Pang-harabas talaga. No leather seats and the bumpers are not even colored.

    YAHOOOO...sabi ko na nga ba hindi naman BI si ungas for "forcing" me to buy a Patrol. Now if I could only get my hands on a turbo kit... what?... what?... 120 thou yon? On second thought... :freak:

    One of my favorite engines ang TD42. Same breed as the 4d56 but on a bigger scale.

    Both are simple as nails and are as tough to break.
