June 19th, 2004 09:37 AM #9four wheeler was trying to prove a point with this rig -- it was responding to criticisms that it had gone soft because it had named the GX as the four wheeler of the year for two years now (it says so right in the text). the magazine responded in kind by going out on a limb to prove the capabilities of the Lexus.

according to the magazine peeps, they intended to complete the Rubicon in the lexus, hence the mods
