ay nako ser mdpo, i can relate! My sympathies. anyway, im sure you dont need to go to the gym anytime soon :D

Anyways, regarding the pito, yup, pwedeng pwede nyo palitan yan. The nice "pito"s ive seen are in Cats Accessories near the EDSA-Ortigas intersection, Besides PGA Cars. Medyo mahal lang though. around 200* yung bakal na threaded tapos merong o-ring.

Pwede po palitan ng stainless tire valves. Baka lumutong yung goma na kumakapit sa thread ng tire valve. If I could remember it right it was around P100.- sa Entire Tire Supply. Ordinary tire valves would be around P20-P25. Kahit naman stainless matatanggal din katagalan. Tire valves should be changed at the same time with your tires. :D

ser, nagde-deteriorate po talaga ang rubber. Thats why its not advisable to get old stock na tires (5 years +) even if brand new :D

Pwede naman itakbo yung spare as long as under 40 km/h ang speed and as long as may hangin po ang reserve tire. :D

sir, i've read somewhere that rubber tires release some sort of gas which makes it "malutong" over time...... parang crispy pata baga? hehehhe

According to my erpats who use to work with BFG... the best way to see if your tires is still okay is there are no apparent "crack/s" pa. The tires will have these if they are too old na....they call it "weather check". That means kahit hindi naaarawan....these rubbers can resist high temp and UV radiations but as they grow old they'll have these cracks....by this time affected na ang integrity nito to "hold" under pressure. It would also expose the nylon treads (inside me bias yun na made of nylon treads or steel braids - steel belted). They nylon treads will easily deteriorate na...and the steel belts will easily loosen out na (kasi hindi naman ito welded together, naka wound around lang).

    my 2 cents.
