Double Wipers

Just curious. I have seen vehicles with double wipers and some even triple wipers in each of the 2 wiper arms. May advantage ba ito over the stock single wiper?

Advantage sana dahil double sweep agad.

Disadvantage, lousy ang quality ng plastics at rubber na gamit sa mga ganung wiperblades. Ang dali masira.

Apparently manufacturers of these wipers watch too much Gilette ads hehe :D

For me, single wipers are enough. Dual wipers mean twice the wipe. True. But it also means twice the load on the motor and the mechanism. It also means twice the wear on your windshield.

But hey, thats only me :D Maganda sana if you can get "TwinBlade" (I think, saw it in Car&Driver ages ago) Looks like a single wiper, pero 2blades underneath.

if you can find good quality double wipers (japan) aluminum frame -- ok yan.

Oo nga...I installed these on a civic i once had - parang hirap yung wiper motor.

Ganun din ginawa ko noon. hirap yung motor. nung nasira na yung rubber, I replaced the rubber with expensive ones. Linis talaga windsheild pero lalo pa nahirapan ang motor

kapag double wipers, usually wala or konting tubig na lang nadadaanan nung 2nd wiper, so hindi na madulas. kaya hirap talaga yung motor and parang lumalabas na walang kwenta yung 2nd wiper. sayang lang sa pera.
