Now if Hyundai can only make a pick-up truck... Ganda sobra diesel nila high horses with high torque as well but at a smaller engine size, small but terrible... I guess there is replacement for displacement. Its called BETTER TECHNOLOGY!

I think we somewhat discussed it on the Hyundai no.5 on quality in the states thread...hehe....now that would be a great addition on the pickup lineup...imagine the starex's 2.5 VGT or the Veraruz's 3.0 VGT on a pickup truck!

thats gonna be *** on wheels....:bwahaha:

No those engines are older models already (but they are still powerful nevertheless) the new R-engine 2.2L found on the facelifted Santa Fe and the new Sorento... German diesel performance at Korean/Japanese prices...

199PS* 4000RPM and 441Nm of torque. Just 2.2L in size!

    The thing is a beast...

so in the end, marami (daw) naka-strada hahaha
hmmmm.... I promised myself not to meddle in this thread by just sitting down and enjoying what I read, can't refrain myself in commenting when I read this statement.

When I was hunting for pick-up only Nav and Strada was in my mind, tried both and I did choose Strada. It's not because I can't afford the Nav but I find the Strada very practical and suits my needs. I can say both are great trucks and both have their pros and cons. If my better half would have agreed at that time I would get both, pay in cash, drive them home, sleep soundly and and adore both truck the following day. But that's impractical, isn't it?

As you've said in your earlier post, "being satisfied in what you buy is priceless." Maybe next time I'll try the Nav if it satisfy me.

Anyone care to put the PROS and CONS of both Strada and Navara... Although my heart is planted on the NAV at the moment, I haven't paid anything so I can always switch...

strada naman e turbocharged yung engine, available in different colors, saka mataas yung ground clearance.

at that time kasi decided na kaming bumili ng pickup, and at that time, yung cash-at-hand namin e hanggang low-end models lang ang kayang bilhin. ayaw din kasi namin na magfinancing kasi hassle yung monthly na bayarin.
