September 21st, 2003 03:14 PM #4conventional diesel engines already "rattle" even while idle, imagine adding an aftermarket exhaust system. that would be noise pollution. but if you really want to upgrade it. go ahead.

September 21st, 2003 04:54 PM #5Ungas' Patrol sounds like a big-rig at full throttle.
At least its better than the buzzing and annoying sounds produced by most cars with those giant mufflers.
Usual upgrages include larger diameter exhaust pipes with less kinks para free-flow as well as free flow mufflers.
Hindi naman necessary ito. It's up to you sir.

September 22nd, 2003 09:32 AM #10Inalis ko ang oe muff nung akin, sakal kasi ang makina after all the intake mods that I did. My next step is to install a free flow for the exhaust.
Kung pakiramdam mo sakal ang makina sa performance, it's not that bad to upgrade your exhaust system. Pero kung stock din lang naman, magbabago ang torque band nyan panigurado. Either lumiit ang torque band or mabawasan ng torque ang makina.

September 22nd, 2003 07:47 PM #11An increase in pipe diameter may iprove the outflow. Pero kung may turbo ka you only do this after the turbo. ;)
