I was on my way to UST that morning. Pagdating sa may Welcome, yung bus sa harap biglang nagpreno (walang brake light), so brake naman kami lahat. Nung nakahinto na ko, a PUJ slams right into the back of my rig. Ang lakas, naitulak pa niya yung Pajero pero buti hindi ko inabot yung Civic EK sa harap ko.
Pagbaba ko I was expecting the worst esp. dahil steel bumpers ako (hindi nagagawa after a crash) and may external tire carrier (which could push the tailgate in).
Laking gulat ko when I only saw a small dent on the lip of my tire cover. Yun lang ang damage. So I just let the guy go and was on my way again.
Turns out the portruding part of his 'bullbar' hit my pintle hook. Sira yung 'bullbar' niya.
Buti na lang may pintle hook at buti na rin lang inalis ko na yung center step. Nagsisisi lang ako at ikinabit ko pa ulit yung tire cover a few weeks ago. Sabi na at mas ok kung wala, eh. hehehe.

July 14th, 2003 08:48 AM #3dati naman meron tricycle na bumangga sa likod ng patrol ko. bale from the side ang bangga. sa sobrang lakas ng impact akala ko sobrang laki na ng sira. dun pala sa rear spare tire tumama yung tricycle. wasak yung mga borloloy ng tricycle pero sa tire cover ko, kahit gasgas wala.

July 14th, 2003 09:25 AM #4same din ako, actually my wife was driving my strada, some woman back her spacewagon to my OEM bumpers pa (hindi pa TJM) totally wasak yung rear niya, ako naman minor dent, pero siningil ko pa rin siya nag chip kasi ang paint eh.

July 14th, 2003 11:50 AM #6Last year a gen II pajero rear ended me. pareho matigas bumper namin. kaya lang pintle hook ko nakalabas todo. not like pajeros or patrols na nakalubog ang pintle hook. Pareho ok bumpers namin pero yung pintle hook ko pumasok sa grill nya tapos tinamaan radiator. malas niya.

last December sumayad naman yung corner ng front bumper ko sa PUJ...last week ko lang napagawa sa pintor ko...umabot din ng 2.7k ang gastos ko hu hu...

Sa may EDSA balintawak I was rushing to go to my GF s place... eh napansin ko meron din pajero fieldmaster na pula mukhang sa lahat ng singgitan ko dun rin sumusunod...
eh pag dating dun sa north exit bigla preno yung pick up sa harap ko... ayun *blag! ... pag tingin ko sa rear under mirror ko naku! yung red pajero ang lapit sa bumper ko!
galit na galit ako ...sama pa tingin ko dun sa driver nung paj... pag labas ko aba 1 inch na lang pala pagitan ng bumper nya sa bumper ko hehe.... sya pala yung nabangga sa likod nung kasunod nya :whoa:
buti na lang di kami ganun kabilis kundi katakot takot na pile up yun
Noon naman sa Civic... kalbo na gulong ng oto ko plano ko palitan the following week. ...ayun pag ka green light takbo lahat oto... yung sa harap ko na nissan terrano may nagcounterflow sa harap nya... ayun preno sya...preono ako...syet wala kapityung gulong! ayun salpok oto ko sa terrano... tuamam yung oto sa spare tire nya dun sa rubber part wala pa sya tire cover... ayun wala nangyari sa oto nya samantalang sa akin... yupi hood... wasak radiator :confused: :worried: :whoa:
