The new Ford Focus hatchback would give them a harder time.

There is one solution to this problem, they should launch the lower priced Peugeot 307 1.6 sedan.

Its produced in China by Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën Automobile, which is a joint venture with the PSA Group.

Medyo high-end ang target market and competing with well established brands. Tapos ang hirap pa i-pronounce ng name nila. I hope 6 units a month is enough to sustain them.

nagkaproblem sila dun sa landowner kaya sinara. WIK, meron din Peugeot sa Pampanga, dunno if they are still open. Madami-daming akong nakikitang 307 hatch sa daan.

french ito d'ba? was able to get inside 3 of their models sa eastwood exhibit last year. it looks & feels luxurious but without the prestige of BMW/Audi/Benz, mukang malabo nga ito i-accept ng mga pinoys.

I'm thinking may chance naman sana but parang kulang sa marketing/promo as if tinatamad na sila magbenta. La ren sila ni-l-launch gaano na more exciting models. Also, sa ibang Asian markets, parang ok ok lang naman sila unlike here...

Mas mahal nga sha but if they capitalize on its "Euro" image more, mas may makakabenta sana sila...

    Yes, its French.
In Europe the Peugeot 307 competes with cars like the Ford Focus, Opel Astra etc.
Its not a true premium/luxury car like Mercedes or BMW...
People here consider it like a premium/luxury car because its expensive(its a CBU from Europe).

It's just like VW's problems in the US. Nice cars, but not nice enough to justify paying 100,000 pesos or more extra over comparable Japanese competitors...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

6 cars at most - kawawa naman. At least they sell quite a bit in Europe, because they're relatively cheap. But if they are like a bucket of manure, they should be free, right?

Citroen, Peugeot, Renault ... Why is it so different on the other side of the border? - BMW, MB, Audi.

Based on the survey of top gear, What car? and other magazines, Almost all peugeot cars are on the bottom list of the worst cars ever made.

I am a euro car enthusiast but I will never buy a car like that. Specially here in the Philippines where the maintenance of that car is so expensive.

I could just imagine the resale value of that car.

Better pa kung SKODA brand cars ang ipasok dito. They are rated very highly in Europe.
