    Cylinder wall,the engine will have low compression, lots of blowby and will burn oil.

    Let start with Cylinder wall (liner for Diesel) if your lucky. If your unlucky include piston rod, crankshaft, all main bearing, one of the cylinder head (if V6). If that happen, might as well buy a new/used engine.

    engine oil will get dirty faster due to incomplete sealing of the combustion chamber.
