tik tik sound problem

may problem po sasakyan ko pag off ko ng makina may tiktik sound cya sa ilalim ng makina.. pero after a few minute nawawala po cya ano po kaya yun? ano rin cause ng problema nun?

ask ko lang, kaka undercoat mu lang ba? naexperience ko itong sound nung kakaundercoat ko lang tuwing nag shutdown nung engine nung CRV ko me sound din na parang tik tik sbi daw naiinitan yung coating near the engine. . .

after turning off? di ba normal lang to? lalo na kung kabubuhay mo palang ng engine inihataw mo na agad! just my observation.

alam ko normal lang din ito. meron din nito sa oto ko eh.
i assume its part of the engine cooling down.

it's normal....unless you have enemies who are drug lords, in which case you should check for time bombs

but seriously, usually that sound comes from the cooling down process of the engine and the joints/parts, as Vlady said.

normal lang po ito. nag-cocool down po kasi ang mga metal parts kaya nag-titiktik.

it's not the injectors cooling down. normally it is either the brakes or the metal in the exhaust.

Its the metal protector thingy na nakatakip sa exhaust manifold thats ticking. Observed it also when I park after a long drive.

oh my bad, but I recently inquire about this problem and the mechanic told me that it is just the injectors cooling down, oh well

yup, aside from the injectors naririnig ko ring tumitick din. Siguro dahil sa expansion while heated then baka when its cooling down nagcocompress na uli (my theory tho)

the injectors should not make noise when the engine is not on. when the engine is on then may konting konting ingay lang dapat.

I don't recall where I heard this but if you're using the cheapest gasoline your car will have this kind of sound after turning the engine off. I'm a dieselhead so I'm not too knowledgeable on that but maybe it can lead to something

gas should not cause that sound lalo na when the engine is off. it might cause it when you're running and the engine is knocking...
