Precision Automotive along Roces Ave, Q.C., dun nagpapagawa mga kilalang karerista and automotive shops.

No, hindi pare-pareho. PRECISION is by far the best and the most pricey among the three. PRECISION is the only shop that offers ceramic coating. They invested heavily in new and high-tech machine shop equipment over the years. I can attest to their quality coz dito ako nagpa-ceramic coating ng engine.

ATI has sort of a tie-up with Mitsu dealers on diesel calibration. The ATI in Makati is located beside Citimotors.

AER is good before but forgot to invest in newer technology.

i see, thank you sa info ulit.

kung mag pa rebuild ako ng engine(gas) it would be best sa precision and kung medyo kulang sa budget sa AER... tama ba ako dun sir woodfire?

Yep, Precision is good and professional... but of course the cost is there. Went there for some hydrotesting before and saw their work.

On ceremic coating, i'm not sure on what exactly it does but part of it is that it reduces the thermal stress on the engine parts by insulating the hot parts on turbos and exhaust manifolds amongst some. This can also be applied to the internals (pistons?).

vinj is absolutely right. the coating drastically reduces thermal (heat) stress in the innards of the engine. the coating was applied throughout the innards of the engine, turbo and manifolds. when i installed a turbo in the E36, I had the engined coated since the the pistons are of the high compression type (10.5:1). the coating affords me to slightly increase the boost in the turbo from the spec 5.5psi to 7psi (mosselman turbo).
