December 13th, 2007 11:20 AM #11) honda ek96 ang ride ko mga bro's. napansin ko lang since last week na nag pa-fluctuate ung rpm ko from 1 to almost zero kapag nakatigil ako, minsan namatayan pa ako.. pero once na matagal na tumatako ung car eh wala naman.. ano kayang problema?
2) possible kaya na apektado rin ung aircon ko? kasi minsan on and off ung lamig nya hindi na consistent, nag aamoy humid tapos after 10 to 20 mins saka lang lalamig... kakatapos ko pa lang mag pa cleaning ng aircon pero ganun pa rin ang problem. nagpalit na din ako ng relay nya baka kasi ung switch ang problema.
Need your help and suggestions guys! maraming salamt in advance!

hey bro, you might wanna check out your IACV (Idle Air Control Valve..) also, the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor..) can cause an eratic Idle.
and about your A/C.. make sure na puno ang A/C condenser ng refrigerant. since malamang konti lang ang na ilagay nila sa A/C mo. so you might wanna have that inspected.
aite, peace.

about sa engine RPM going down when the headlight is on. well I would suggest having your Alternator checked. tingin ko "ok" pa siya for now (since hindi ka panaman namamatayan ng kotse!) pero I'm pretty sure na nag we-wear out na ang Alternator... or kundi may mahinang Ground sa Charging system. check the Battery too since it might be charging low.
also, idling at 1000 rpms is kinda "alright". pero mas maganda pa din pag nasa 900-800 rpms ang idle speed. well, what you can do is check the Throttle Body if its sticking (check mo sa loob.. it might be sticking due to gum & dirt), then check the Throttle Cable and the Idle speed adjustment screw (kung meron).
aite, peace.
