corolla gli 93 RPM gauge suddenly stops

Mga brod, baka may naka-experience na sa inyong similar problem, bigla na lang kasing namatay ang RPM gauge ko. I have it checked with an electrician, malamang daw 'yong sensor sa loob ng may distributor. Any second opinion, if so, how much would it cost. I just want to make sure may ballpark figure ako before I canvass sa evangelista. Salamat!

hmmm...no idea on this. Nag continuity check ba yun mechanic mo, that is from the distributor to the rpm gauge?

Ganyan din boss ang problem ko sa Corolla gli 93 din and model, ang sa akin RPM gauge at speedometer ang hinde gumagana, pina check ko sabi sa akin sensor din daw sa lood ng distributor ang problem.......

mga bossing baka meron po kayong alam na shop malapit dto sa south area.

OK, thanks sa inyo. I will try my luck tomorrow in evangelista, may mga recommendation sa akin ang electrician na tumingin nito. I will post my update as soon as I have any.

Failed to get a decent mechanic to fix it in evangelista so I decided to go to banawe. Ricky of New J6 Part Needs and Trading Inc ( Kaliraya St., Tatalon QC) was able to fix the problem in just 30 minutes. True to the analysis of my electrician, the sensor on the distributor is the culprit. Set me back Php 1200 for the job.

Sana ma update pa to. Kasi ganito din ang problem ko ngayon. Normal ang engine walang up and down kaya sabi ng mekaniko hindi daw sa distributor ang problema. Sabi sakin palitan na daw ang gauge.
