When have you last had your engine tuned up? Have you checked your engine oil level, is it decreasing? You can have a competent mechanic check your sparkplugs for their condition.Originally Posted by kabuke0

mga bro, sa akin naman e pag first start ko sa morning or malamig panahon e me puting usok lumalabas but after mge 5-10 minutes nawawala,,ano kaya yun? is that a normal moist or something wrong na with my engine and need inspection?tnks
check the condition of your spark plug bro.namamatayan kaba ng spark plug?
dina normal yang constant yong labas ng usok.something is wrong.either valve seal or loose compression kana.better yet pacheck muna bro bago pa lumala
*flanker, 14X,XXX pa lang may usok na? kamusta naman ang hatak? you might as well check out the engine oil kung nababawasan. kasi it could be a tell-tale that you might be needing overhaul. however, kung sa umaga ay mausok, normal lang yan, kasi malamig ang panahon. nagbe-vaporize kasi yung heat coming from the engine's exhaust.
you can use 20w-50 rating. thick enough as to not cause dripping. mine was a civic 96 lxi m/t, at 156,xxx. wala pa namang usok pero medyo hirap na humatak din. looking forward to top overhaul seems like it will be needing one. saka para ma-check din ang condition ng cylinders at mga piston rings.![]()
*gaboy, try mo mag pa-compression test. yung usok while revving could also be a sign of worn piston rings.

*Flanker2000, Suggestion ko lang ang 10w40. 'to ang ginagamit ko sa aking sasakyan na 1995 V6 3500cc (142,000km). Ang temperature dito sa amin sa ngayon ay average ng 5deg C sa umaga kaya kailangan ko ng mababa ang viscosity para maganda ang flow ng oil sa cold start.
*gaboy,may point si ian_rex sa piston rings. Ang ginagawa kong shortcut noon ay isaisa kong hinuhugot at balik ang HT lead ng SP habang nasa idling ang makina. Kapag nagbago ang ang RPM O.K. ang cyl. na iyon.

Ok pa naman hatak bro, feel ko pa naman na everytime hahataw ako from 1st-2nd gear or 2nd to higher gear napapa press pa likod ko sa upuan,parang gusto tumalon ng car...As for my OIL naman, di naman sya nababawasan and no oil leak naman sya...
