my ride is ae-111, what brand and specs should i use? mobil1, top1 or castrol? what do the nos. (ex. 10w50) mean?

I would assume you are in Manila were the ambient temperature rarely goes below 20 deg C.

I personally go with 20W-50 Castrol GTX and replace every 5Tkms because of the Manila traffic and my relatively short daily trips.

The Castrol USA site http://www.castrolusa.com/expert/ae_...6&section_id=3 explains about what the codes mean. The Toyota Corolla manual also mentions this a little bit.
