Has anyone attempted to rent out a car lift at a repair shop or gas station to work on your own vehicle... at least just to be able to do some of the more meticulous aspects of it, like ATF changes on Toyota WS "lifetime" ATF? As it no longer have a dipstick, there is a specific procedure to measure the ATF level and it involves letting the fluid warm up within a specific temperature window before taking measurements using the overflow or standpipe method.

I see a lot of mechanics ignore the procedure and simply put in fluid that is either the same volume as what they've taken out or put in more than what is recommended.... not to mention, ignore the temperature requirement altogether.

Sa Shell West Ave. Dati before pandemic. 50 pesos per lift. Ginamit namin pang inspect ng pang ilalim, or install na abubot gaya ng side sill. Tingin ko kahit saang Shell puwede kung walang pila sa change oil at kakilala ang tao sa shop.

Did this many years before to prepare for a track day. Shell gas station with service center. Just went early on a day they weren't busy. Can't remember anymore how much I paid to to use the lift but it wasn't a big number.
