Oil sa Spark plug

Ano kaya possible cause... Small amount of oil sa may 1 sparkplug... other 3 wala naman...

Check for worn valve guides, valve stem seals and/or piston rings. Replacing the spark plug may help for a short time, but the new plug will soon foul.

could it be that the plug was not tight enough?

if normal lng ang hatak at minsan slight hard start maybe busted valve seals . change valve seals or for the meantime clean up plugs regularly.

How much kaya magagastos ko kung change ng valve seal? PH12 engine.. Kahit + - lang...

each seals has its price. but you can buy package like 12 seals for 12 valve engine. Go for replacement or casa. I think less 2T for 12 seals.

if the oil is on top then it's the spark plug oil seal. kung nasa tip na ng plug yung oil then you have to open up the engine.

tip is yung dulo, yung electrode.

top is where the socket attatches when you remove the plug

Hi just wanted to revive this question.

I have the same problem for PH16 engine i just changed the valve seals last year since pumpasok sa intake mainifold yung oil.

Now i notticed that one spark plug #4 is oil fouled. Very minimal.

I am planning to change the valve seals for that culprit.

Any advice of valve guides na ito milage is arou 115k Honda Civic VTi Ph16 engine.

naexperience ko to sa GSR ko, pinalitan lang ng mekaniko yung spark plug seal, more or less 200 pesos each.
AFAIK basta di nausok ng white ang muffler mo ok ang valve seal mo, kapag minimal damage sa valve seal sa umaga o unang start lang may usok coz nag accumulate lang ang langis habang nakapark ng matagal, while running wala na white smoke unless talagang damaged na valve seal
