where to buy repair manuals

Anyone who has idea where to buy repair manuals for a certain engine or transmissions?

What type of engine transmission? While I don't personally know any local store where you can buy these types of manuals, you can most probably find on-line sites that offer tranny manuals for sale.

where you from? if you're in the PI then I don't know any stores that sells them but If you're in the US then just go to pepboys or anny auto parts store. or try to search ebay for the manual that's where i got my manual for both of our cars

You can try to visit http://www.chiltonsonline.com/ to order repair manuals. If you're in the US you can visit and Barnes and Noble stores. But if you're in the Philippines you can try Power Books at Makati and from your there you can order Chilton's or Haynes repair manual.

Just a piece of unsolicited advice, if your'e a serious mechanic, stay away from Chilton's and Hayne's manuals as theyre for novices and actually dont offer much.
