    [SIZE=2]My car: 1993 honda LX D15B7 (stock) engine (carburaeted)[/SIZE]

    [SIZE=2]symptoms:[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]1. rpm needle intermittent while idle[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]2. engine stalling after a week of usage after tune-up. (after spark plugs has been replaced and all).[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]3. sliding clutch whenever the engine is hot.[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]4. muffler does... like, plok plok plok whenever I let go of the gas while the car is moving. But no plok2x whenever the car is not moving and I just do revs.[/SIZE]

    [SIZE=2]service done:[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]1. tune-up, oil changed, changed the spark plugs for the "nth" time.[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]2. adjusted the clutch.[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]3. changed/cleaned air filter[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]4. changed the diaphram (the circular metal that is attached to the distributor where a hose is connected to). [/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]5. changed the timing belt.[/SIZE]


    [SIZE=2]Quick questions:[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]1.) Does my car have a computer box?[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]2.) Is anybody experiencing the same problem?[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]3.) Anyone here knows where I can do an Engine swap to D15b ( the one that is fuel injected) or should I?[/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]4.) Am I just dumb not to accept defeat and just forget all this sh*t. [/SIZE]
    [SIZE=2]5.) Do I have to blame it all to god for giving me problems that lead to me selling my former car w/c is a civic 96 D15b / transport show winner, 17" chrome mags and a certified head turner that I have just used for 1 d*mn year? yEs! you heard that right. One (the "F" word) year![/SIZE]

    [SIZE=2]This experience is starting to be a real pain in the rear.[/SIZE]

    no you don't have a box. have it checked elsewhere siguro baka hindi lang nagawa ng tama ng nag adjust before...

    they even had a timing gun, after changing the oil and everything, ginamitan ng timing gun after nun, lumakas yung hatak, so I was like whistling on my way home, but after 2 days of using the my car, nawala na2man sa timing, pina check ko ulit tapos sabi may nawawalang pin daw sa may likod ng carb, (the pin looks like the thing that u use to inflate a basketball.) so i went ahead and got that from evangelista. they took it out from an old carb of the same model. and it fit in perfectly to mine, but that only did fix a pinch of the problem that im having. Still reverts back to the same old "OFF" timing.

    malakas din sya umubos ng spark plug, An NGK spark plug right off the box will just last for 1 month, which is not really an ideal s.plug life span.

    halos pareho tayo problema.. same engine PH12?,, hatch sa akin 93... di kase ko pumasa sa emission test e dinala ko agad sa talyer...pagkatapos kalikutin ng siraniko at paglaruan ung timing ng walang timing gun nag simula na problema sa auto...inadavance timing, kinalikot taffetes...nilinis sparks.. pinalitan sparkplugs seals... kinabukasan ayaw na magstart kung hindi tapakan gas... tapos pag mainit na makina ..pa putok putok na ung buga sa tambutso.. inadjust ko hangin nawala ung abnormal na buga...pero weird pa din ung idling.. di ko makuha ung tamang balance at timpla..mejo niretard ko na din ung timing (kapa system)....mejo nawala hatak pero nag sstart na sya kaso hindi pa din normal ung tunog pag malamig makina parang super hingalo...pag uminit naman may whiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrr sound naman pag tinatapakan ung gas (running or idle)....

    if lagi ka magpapalit ng plugs then baka valveseals yung poblem.

    tinanggal ko yung air filter nung sakin, nakita ko may gas nag moist dun sa carb, normal lang ba yun? pero tapos dami na din singaw ng carb ko kaya tinapalan yung mechanic ko, nag ddrop talaga yung rpm ng oto ko pag d nag ggas. any ideas on where i can get a new carb.?

    tingin ko iisa lang problema ng oto natin! may nabasa akong thread dati tunkol sa problem ng car natin eh! we have the same ph12 engine, pa check mo yung magnetic jet ng carb mo! yung parang gold that looks like 1/4 of a pentel pen sa likod ng carb, but its not like we will get to see one of those when we go to the auto shops near our location. 2tal taga pque ka rin naman we can go on a convoy to qc to have our carb's checked, taga cavite lang ako. OR we can have our carbs converted to EFI's! I know there is such a thing.

    converting to injected means replacing the engine.

    hmmm...... yes....... I would love to have a D15b vtec with 130hp... do you do engine swaps speedyfix? I really care about the quality of the engine above the price.

    napa overhaul ko na eh... hindi ko nalang nagagawa is umiyak sa dami ng prob ng oto ko

    naayos ba nung nag pa overhaul ka?... san mo pinagawa.. magkano inabot... plan ko talaga engine swap la pa lang ko breads eh....d15 vtec plano ko... un nga lang bukod sa pera kakatakot chambahan din daw kase ung ok na makina e...pero when the time comes na magkapera ako i'd have to bite the bullet and just go for it.... for the meantime tyaga muna ko sa ph12... gusto ko lang sana tumakbo ng matino... mejo hassel kase i drive eh..lalo na sa gabe pag naka on na ung mga ilaw...pa grounding ka din bro..un next ko gawin pag naayos ko na carb.. pwede naman lipat un sa d15 kung sakale e..

    ok na car ko na diagnose ko na yung problem, yung magnetic jet yung sira nya hindi na nag sspark ill go to honda and buy a magnetic jet

    bro i have the same problem with my car..pero dun lang sa last part ng description mo.. my car got screwed after having my timing belt changed by a wreckanic as well.. when stepping on the gas, may "whiirrrr" sound coming from the timing belt area.. so i figured na baka masikip yung belt.. i had it adjusted, nawala naman although not completely. humina lang.. maririnig mo nlang pag nakataas yung hood. dati kasi kahit nakababa yung hood, rinig pa rin... aside from this, nagkaron na ng oil leak dun sa front part ng timing belt cover..medyo worried nga ko kse baka soaked in oil na yung bagong belt ko.. baka naging useless pa yung pagpapalit ko.. mas napasamang PMS. im planning to have this checked y speedyfix..save lang muna ng konting cash para sabay ko na sa change oil, sparkplugs, and filters... question is, nasolve mo na ba yung problem regarding that irritating "whir" sound? try ko rin sana sa civic ko.. tnx..
