Knowing the K20a

How do you know the difference from the k20a and the other k-series?
There is a2 and a3(I think).
There is even a k20c
How do you know that it is the real k20a? thanks

I am not sure here but I researched and based from U.S:

K20A2 is Type R.
K20A3 is Type S.
K20A4 is for CRV 02-07.
K20A6 is for Accord 03-up.
K20A9 is for FR-V 04-07.

just look at the engine number. that says it all.

Pumunta ulit ako dun sa bibilhan ko ng engine.This time kasama ko na ang mekaniko.
Habang tinitignan niya ang makina na k20a.Tinignan ko yung ibang k20a.
Ganito ang nangyari yung dedeliver sa isang lugar sa pinas parehas yung sticker na PRC at yung naka embed.Yung isang k20a naman sa sticker niya PRC at sa tranny PRB pero naka embed PRC.
Ganun din dun sa ibang k20a PRC ang embed pero nabura na yung sticker sa may tranny eh.

Pag hindi pareho yung number na nakalagay sa sticker at dun sa naka embed binuo lang yung k20a di ba?
PRC ang sticker pero dun sa tranny PRB.
Pero nakalagay dun sa naka embed PRC.
Nagmula daw sa DC5 yung engine eh.

it should be simple naman to check if the tranny was from the dc5... it should be a 6 speed and have an lsd. if it's not then it's not from the dc5.

Yup according to the research I've done the LSD should be found in the tranny.
Muntik ko na nga bilhin buti na lang hindi ko pa binil.
Sabi pa sa akin nung nagbebenta straight from Japan daw yun.
Sabi ni niky baka frankenstein engine yun.
Dun pa din cguro ako bibili kase wala pa akong mahanap na iba at matinong k20a.
Magaantay pa ako hanggang september or october.
speedyfix baka may alam ka pa na nagbebenta ng k20a.
