May 24th, 2004 04:24 PM #2depending on manufacturers, it ranges from 70T to 100Tkm. i just changed mine at 75Tkm, and the belt still looks good. timing belt replacement is a very cheap thing to do, but if it breaks on you, it will cost you a whole lot!

follow the owner's manual. 80K sa civic ko. ok pa yung itsura. i think sa mazda 100K pa. mazda owners, correct me if i'm wrong.
maraming sisirain kapag napatidan ng timing belt kaya di dapat i-neglect yan.

dati meron kami gen 1 crv nakalagay sa manual 80k km ang palit ng timing belt.

better safe than sorry...
pag naputulan ka ng timing belt, tatama valves mo sa piston causing it to bend. kailangan mo na magpa o/h.

diba yung chain type di na pinapalitan, usually pag sobrang tagal na siguro?
