i think may iba pang jet pilot.... kasi may nagsabi sakin na pampatipid daw siya ng gas consumption sa mga carb pa na car... taxis use this daw eh... kaya lang hindi ko alam kung tutoo to... baka lang may idea mga tsikot peeps...

The pilot jet refers to the idle jet of the carburator... most likely, they're talking about modifying or tuning the existing idle jet to release less gas, leaning it out so that you're burning less gas while parked in traffic... the pilot jet provides all of the fuel at idle and at low throttle openings.

A good mechanic can get you maybe 1 or 2 km/l extra by tuning/changing your jets... a great mechanic will get you even better mileage and some extra power to boot... but be sure the guy knows what he's doing!

Tsikoteers, any advice on good carb tuners for this guy?

thanks niky! hehe so it's a pilot jet.... sorry about that.... so it is really effective. just have to find the right mechanic then... btw, can it be used in a '79 mercedes benz? thanks for the input!

Ano ang makina ng Benz? Madaming '79 na Benz. hehehe. But I don't really ascribe to the use of such products.

sa kamuning nga madaming carb experts. mura lang yung jets ng carb. yung sa sentra JX ng friend ko pinalitan yung low nya pero stock pa rin yung high pang recta
