SOP after buying 2nd hand pickup?

Ano po ba SOP after bumili ng 2nd hand 4x4 pickup? Sa ngayon change oil, air filter and oil filter. Check the timing belt kung kelangan palitan. Need more info pa sana. Tnx!

try to observe first...for the mean time, ok na po muna ang change oil and filters. kung wala naman pong nararamdaman, just leave it as it is. i think timing belts need to be replaced after 100k kms ata. always check for water level on your radiator to prevent overheat, sama mo naren yung pag check ng brake and clutch fluid at least once a week since 2nd hand yan. have the suspension checked naren for further assessments.

imho, timing belt is checked/replaced every 80k kms.

observe any "tagas" and try to pass through any rough roads to check for your suspension kung may kalampag

change the fluids (brake, power steering, clutch, coolant, etc.). for the timing belt, refer to your owners manual to make sure ilang mileage kailangan palitan ang timing belt. usually nasa 100k kms yun. pag nagpalit ka timing belt sama mo narin water pump and tensioner bearing para isang baklas/kabit nalang. repack bearing and change grease.

basically when we get new 2nd hand cars we like starting the service from scratch so you know when you did what.

palit lahat ng fluids and check everything comprehensively.

thank you very much sa lahat ng replies. will change brake and clutch fluids tomorrow. Medyo malambot na clutch...Sa ngayon nakikita ko tagas ay yung gear oil. changed oil seal na and replaced the gear oil na pero may tagas pa rin....

depends naman which tranny oil seal you replaced. meron nasa labas which is easy to replace and meron sa loob na kelangan ibaba pa tranny to replace.
