It varies from car to car as well... For some reason I noticed and got better fuel consumption on our Sentra when i used 95 octane Petron XCS over regular 93 (roughly 1-2km/L difference, and the gauge drop is less over the same route i take with the same driving habits). But with our Corolla 1300 before, there was no difference with low and high octane fuel consumption except that nawala yung tope pag tag-init.
