    brake experts,

We're having a hard time looking for quality disc rotors. There is this brand named POWER PLUS that reltails for P1,950 and is also recommended by Rapide. I think this is the one they use for their lifetime warranty on brakes.

I tried asking Nissan Casa for rotors but they cost a lot, if im not mistaken, maybe around 7k each, so what brand can you recommend.. estimate of price and where to find a pair for the front.

Btw, its for a GQ Nissan Patrol. Thanks a lot in advance

The guy I know doesn't really distribute DBA rotors locally, he imports them from Australia.

Nope, magkaiba yun. Mura yung front rotors since mas magaan ito sa weight and madalas magamit compared to rear rotors.

Hindi ko din makita yung number nung gumagawa ng slotted rotors from Thailand.

Powerplus? Ganyan ang brake pads ko sa likod. I'm not complaining about the performance pero grabe ang ingay!

Mas sulit magupgrade sa front, since mas mura at magaan. My rotors will also be slotted come this summer. But I'm still contemplating whether to get the slotted or the drilled ones...

Unless the "drilled" ones are dimpled rather than complete holes, i think mas ok yung slotted in terms of reliability based on what i've read/heard before.

jon, wala bang chance na me mastuck na pebbles dun sa mga slot/drilled rotors during trailing? Di kaya magkaproblema sa brake pads pag me naipit?

What I use are Powerplus pads on stock rotors. Ang ingay nung sa likod. If I remember right, Bendix yung sa harap ko.

Btw, I prefere sloted over cross-drilled rotors. :D

It's factory made cross-drilled holes with slots. I would never drive around with just any other "drilled" rotors.

Yup, not just pebbles but also muds along the trail. Braking distance also differs from slotted & cross drilled rotors. Sabi rin ni drexx sa post nya dati, matrabahong work yung magsungkit ng putik sa rotors after every trail. Anyway, the slotted rotors are in P'que, and also cross drilled, malalaman na lang natin sa March.

    Graduation gift mo? :D

Just to clarify, if i remember what i read/heard right before, even if it was factory drilled it's still better to choose dimpled or slotted ones.

Grad gift... haha! I wish! :D

Nah, something I really wanted to improve eversince I got this truck. 80% slotted... while the remaining 20% is quite confused with cross-drilled.
