    Heres the scenario:
We have 2 corollas with the following FCs

    1. Altis with 70k on odo: 9.5km/l city driving
    2. Altis with 28k on odo: 8km/l city driving

both are AT variants and both ran the same route (marikina-ortigas-marikina)

Is it possible that the newer altis' engine still needs some stretching (proper breaking in?). It was previously used for nearby trips lang (5km a day) while the older corolla was used for long trips.

Should I do some long trips to get a better FC on the newer altis?

    TIA

That's one possibility... try taking it out on a long trip and stretching it's legs.

Check also the baseline if both car's are running on the same plugs and timing settings.

On a sidenote, i'm doing around 11km/L on our m/t Altis. Q.C.-Makati-Ortigas-Q.C. On the highway it hits around 14km/L.

djerms, did we clean the maf the last time you were in the shop? lets try it baka makatulong.

if medyo stuck din yung brakes that may play a role too.
