ask ko lang mga sirs, my car has some sort of "helicopter" sound galing sa harap lalo na pag around 40-50km/hr ang takbo. same case din pag naka neutral at 40-50km/hr and takbo.no noise naman when turning left or right. pina wheel balance ko na and alignment pero same pa rin. brought it sa 2 talyer to have the wheel bearings checked, ok naman daw. tire related na kaya? any ideas? TIA

could be the tyre has internal defect, baka napunit at naghiwalay na yung thread sa outer rubber. DELIKADO YAN, HIGH SPEED FRONT TYRE BLOWOUT. pagpalitin mo yung front tyres and rear tyres. kung lumipat ang sound sa likod then yun na yun, internal defect ng goma. kaya may helicopter sound kasi nagcla-clap yung 2 separated rubber parts.

or use your spare tyre. pag nawala then the tyre you remove is defective.

In my own experience the prob w/ the same situation is the velocity bearing. But just make sure na orig or class A yung ipapalit mo kasi in my case after a week of replacement w/ just some bearing, nadurog agad yung bearing grrr! my 2 cents

what's the recommended tire pressure for 195 55 R15 honda city '04? nagulat kasi ako nung nagpacheck ako last night, nasa 40 psi lahat ng gulong. pinabawasan ko muna to 30 lahat. ok na ba 30 for my car? do i need to increase/decrease para maiwasan yung tire noise.

kung single load ka lang, you can go well at around 28 psi.... medyo matagtag ka na at 30 psi, but kung parating loaded sasakyan mo, eto talaga ang recommended tire pressure.

does the sound disappear beyond 50 kph?
did this noise start after an oil change or after hitting something on the road?
are there plastic protective coating on the windshield trim?
are the windshield wiper springs weak?
have you tried replicating the symptoms with the antenna retracted?
is the fuel filler lid loose on its mount?
are the air dams or spoilers loose?
where is the general area the sound is coming from?

sir nilagay ba sa lifter ung car mo then piaikot ung wheels at detected na me tunog? Nung una kasi ang advise din sa akin ng mechanic wheel bearing, nag palit ako ng mechanic at inulit ung pag test sa lifter, ang final result ung tyres ko ang maingay, palit ako ng 4 tyres nawala ung ingay

I just changed my tyres as I thought they might be the culprit. The thing is, the noise got louder so I decided to have it checked. I had two mechanics from different garages check it and they both confirmed that it's the wheel bearings. I can't wait to get it fixed. I can't listen to music with that annoying sound while driving.

I got my car back and it is now running quietly. The culprit was really worn out wheel bearings. Each front bearing cost me P2,700 so total including labour was P8,400. Whew! I can now listen to my music once again.
