Problem:
- Namamatay madalas pag nag shishift ng gear, or minsan mag brebreak ka lang, namamatay engine & elecrical lahat. Yung bang biglang bagsak ng mabilis sa 0 yung odometer parang pinatay mo yung engine.
- Last 2 weeks, biglang nde na gumana yung alarm, yung remote oks naman, pinabayaan ko lang after 2 weeks biglang namatayan ako tapos presto gumana na ulit yung alarm =(.
- Pansin ko din yung power window pag ginagamit malakas humigop ng koryente, parang bang brobrown out =)
Resolution Made:
- Tune Up
- Cleaning the servo (tama ba?) yung nasa air intake.
- New battery
- fixed the altertor
Not Yet done:
- Check whole electric Circuit for grounded. Since i dont have any idea of a good Auto Electrial shop around (may be you can refer me one). Sana yung may device na machecheck lahat yung status ng lahat ng electrical parts, parang yung device as tune-up ekek
Other needs(looking):
- front & back bumper
- wash over
- body repair
I had the same problem after undergoing engine wash, although they covered the distributor, filter. Parang mamamatay parati ung engine and then pag nag aircon ka ang baba ng rpm. the engine started agad naman after the enginer wash, its just that while on the hi way and shifting to 2nd gear parang pumupugag at hirap ung engine. my dads galant experinced the same prob... parang lahat na lang electrical ngbuburn ng electric. yung ginawa sakanya is to replace the servo and alternator... ok na lahat!
yung kanya
- you cant use aircon and lights at the same time
- kung start yung car yung idle nagwawala... parang yung needle fluctuate hangang 4000 rpm then start
- idle down kung buksan kagad aircon from start
- dimming lights kung on ang radio (stock lahat ng sounds)
Parang grounded nga ata yan. Same car tayo ung Vti ko pag power window may fluctuation sa lights and all that normal daw yon.
Comment lang nakikita ko marami nag kaka problema sa distributor or sa electrical after they had an engine wash? Kasi pag ako engine wash I do not use my compressor sa underside lang ng car kasi baka may matamaan ako.
Addition lang madali humanap ng mga parts ng civic kasi when i go to banawe puro civic ang mga nakikita ko especially mga front cut.
San ba ginagamit ung mga front cut I know you use when converting but pati ung putol na fender ginagamit rin ung components sa loob such as condenser reservoirs etc magagamit pa pero bakit putol na ung fender why not sell it with the fender
had the same problem with my '96 civic lxi and what my electrician said was that kung madalas daw ako magpa engine wash. sabi ko usually after change oil. then natanong niya kung mataas idling plus pumupugak after ng wash coming from 2nd gear. ang nangyari is baka di raw natatakpan ng mabuti ang alternator and what they did was replace/repair the ic regulator. mejo malaking gastos pero mas cheaper compared sa casa... hope this helps...
to all tsikoters, i would like to share may problem regarding my civic lxi 99 with the same idle problem especially when aircon is on.I have check & clean my servo but the same problem still. I need your help.
Pag inaangat ko yung tension wire ng
spurplug 1, nagrereact ang makina,dinig mong nahihirapan
same with spurplug 3 and 4
but not with spurplug 2. Kung iaangat ko spurplug 2, parang wala lang.
Ive checked my HTW and ok naman.Replaced new spurplug.
Is it possible na yung distributor ko problema kasi wala siyang naiidistribute sa spurplug 2 ko?
Anybody experienced thesame thing?
