tsikoteers, last month ko pa naamoy yung sunog sa loob ng kotse ko. inamoy ko yung makina pero hindi naman amoy sunog... sabi ng kabarkada ko baka daw sa transmission yun. hindi naman pwede brakes kasi ok pa naman siya.. anu sa tingin nyo? matic pa naman kotse ko. thanks in advance :D

Ano po bang klaseng amoy sunog? Plastic na sunog, fluids na sunog, carpet na sunog?

Baka naman fuse? O kaya naman wirings na nag-iinit kaya amoy sunog yung insulation?

Magdala na rin kayo ng portable extinguisher, just for emergency situations. :D

I'd also have the electricals checked if I were you. Mahirap na. Kelan lumalabas yung amoy, pag naka-idle ka o pag umaandar ka na?

have you electricals checked as soon as possible. It would probably one of the inside electrical equiptment that is the cause of the burning smell.

check your engine oil level and automatic transmission fluid level, then smell the ATF if it smells burned or not, if yes you need to replace it and have the tranny checked. other possible burning things could be wiring, esp. if new electronics had been installed.

thanks sa reply! hmm, sabi ng dad ko baka daw sa electrical wiring. nadrive ko naman kanina pauwi wala naman amoy kanina. madalas mangyari ang amoy kapag traffic at umaga (sa init siguro). and yep tama si ungas, magdala na raw ako ng fire extinguisher sabi ng dad ko.hehe bukas papacheck ko na sa tire boy and sana maayos na :D thanks ulit!

uy tsikoteers, napacheck ko na kanina sa tire boy kung ano ang problema. wala daw nasusunog sa kotse baka lang daw yung mga goma na nabubugahan ng pressurized sa car wash (every sunday pa naman) na pwede daw dahilan kaya parang nawala sa alignment sa kaha kaya kapag mausok sa labas madili pumasok sa kotse, or yung sa thermostat, minsan daw nalalagay sa bandang gitna kaya umiinit ang aircon at nagaamoy sunog. kung may nasunog daw na wiring or ano sa kotse malamang daw d na ko makakarating sa tire boy nun (oo nga naman,hehe) anyway, thanks sa reply ninyong lahat! :D atleast kapag actual na talaga alam ko na kung ano.hehe

Ako naman amoy sunog pag naiinitan. Hehehe. Pero malamang sa init lang yun. Hirap talaga pag walang tint sa harap... Hassle naman sa gabi... Hmmm...

To expand further on this topic, I'm experiencing the same problem with my car. I found out that my EGR(exhaust gas recirculation) tube is smoking after stop & go driving. Once I am in traffic & the car idles, I can smell the smoke from the inside of the car. Also when I shift to park I can smell the smoke. I recently had my radiator, hoses & valve cover gasket replaced earlier this year. After that, I've been experiencing this. I was thinking it could be water leaking since it is a white smoke. Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance!

I also have this experienced nangangamoy ng sunog na goma and kotse ko when I replaced my valve cover gasket... Rubber kasi ang valve cover gasket ng Toyota 2E engine... But after mg two weeks wala ng yung sunog na gomang amoy...hehehehehe nanigas na siguro yung rubber gasket... :-)

ganyan rin problema ko sa lancer ko.
in my case naman, everytime i'm flashing my headlights, meron white smoke na lumalabas sa kabitan ng steering wheel ko which causes the amoy sunog odor. hindi ko nga alam kung dahil sa halogen bulbs ko? pinalitan ko kasi yung stock bulbs nang halogen bulbs na.

baka naman gumagamit ka ng pirated na dvd o cd. amoy sunog din yun pag nasa player. serious ako ah.

yung amoy clutch sa akin rav4 po.. d ko alam eh kahit d ako nag chachange ng gear, pag steady ako sa high speed mga 120++ nga talaga siya aamoy na siya

baka may white lady :D seriously, you should have your electricals check by a competent electrician. baka may ground or walang relay yan. see if your wires are thick enough to handle the added load when changing to a higher wattage bulbs. DO NOT DELAY. DELIKADO YAN !!!
