    Dudes,

Aside from Nodalo's and CPM Muffler haus, any other recommendations? Preferably near Alabang or down south. Need a new resonator for my GTi. Bumigay na un stock resonator after 13 years of service. Kindly include na rin contact numbers if possible. Thanks!

    dude,

tnx for the reply. inquired at nodalo's by phone this morning. they quoted 2K for a replacement resonator, labor included. cpm offers the same at 1540, un nga lng sa makati pa nearest shop nila. nagbabakasakali na baka may mas mababa pa hehehe...

yup ganun din ako mga 8 months ago. had my muffler changed kasi dahil medyo butas na. sa nodalo's ang cost is around 1800. sa cpm, around 1300. yun nga, makati nga yung nearest shop nila, and although i work in makati, hassle pa kasi sa akin lumabas ng office (you know how bad traffic here in makati is). so dun na lang din ako sa nodalos. at least convenient.

tnx sa mga replies dudes! finally had my resonator replaced by Nodalo's Alabang. though mejo mahal sa kanila by a few hundred bucks, ok na rin kse when i called CPM ulit nagkamali pala ng price quote sakin. mas malaki un ipinalit nila sa stock resonator (13 years in service). very much satisfied with the job. bumalik na ulit un dating humming sound lang (except for the occasional noise made by my valve tappets that needs cleaning/adjustment) my baby runs and sounds like new again. =)

    http://www.fremuff.com/

nge may website na pala sila
headers usually cost some 3500k and custom headers would cost 4500 or so...they have branches in SLEX near san andres, another in banawe and another somewhere in san juan...their products are HIGHLY recomended, just check thier inventories...ang gagaling pa ng latero/stainless smiths nila...ang gaganda kasi ng fabrications at imitations(?) nila eh...just like the expensive stuff w/o costing much

Make sure you get mandrell-bent headers.

To answer your question, 4-2-1 is better for daily driving while 4-1 on the strip. You tend to feel the power and response benefits of 4-2-1 in the mid-rpm levels, while 4-1 is felt in the high rpms. Choose one that will suit your driving mode better.

afaik, 421 ang stock. normal lang na may rust yan kasi its made of iron. pag di mo na ma take yung rust, pwede mo i-sandpaper tapos spray ng VHT paint.
